Just curious how long do you expect these posts to last? Im always hearing you have to use pressure treated everything??

We used the Japanese method of preserving the wood posts, which is called Shou Sugi Ban. We’ll see how they do over time but they should have a decent life span.

Nah, we just set the posts 6 feet deep in gravel and packed it tight.
