I'm not the most knowledgeable about Minecraft mechanics but I do know Villagers have a cooldown on how long they have to wait to breed again, and I think the reason they weren't breeding was because all the other beds had already been claimed by other villagers so maybe breaking the beds and re-placing them would help with that in the future so you don't have to keep crafting beds all the time. I'm not sure if that is the solution but it's worth trying 🤷🏽‍♀️

This was so painful, lol! It seems like more work in the beginning, but having a villager breeder with zombie station and using minecarts is def the way to go ;). I've never had this kind of trouble with villagers. Even if you have to pick up rail you just laid to put it back out front (use stop-blocks with unpowered powered rail), its so with it in the long run. Fun episode tho! I love the build! Pink terracotta is one of my favs too. :)

You need to either A) have traded with our villagers at least once, before you zombify them and depart the area (usually the method for using zombie villagers to fill the mob-cap for a mob-free world), or B) have the newly zombied villager hold an item. I would suggest having boats on hand when you plan to zombify-cure villagers before trading with them. In any case, enjoyed the video. PS: Masons do not really need to be zombie-cured, as they sell for 1 emerald.

I had a similar roof... our staircase roof allows sunlight to pass through, I had zombified villagers on the second floor in my house and they all burnt up right in front of me before I could react 😤😤😤

If villagers don't have their trades locked, and they turn into zombies and you move too far away, they will despawn

villagers are so finicky I was digging a 10 block deep hole and a baby villager just hopped in then kept running behind me HRMing grew up in the process of my digging I just continued building he was my basement villager…until he stole my crops got use out of my stone shovel 😅

If you are not playing on hard mode or hardcore then the villagers have a chance to die instead of getting turned into zombie villagers.
