English subtitles are available. This is A-Model RDS-1 bomb. Russia's first atomic bomb in 1/72 scale. From start to finish. Enjoy.

Very cool & unusual subject matter but my eyesight could not handle all the tiny microscopic parts! Nice job on the build.

Thank you for being a loyal viewer! Yes, I am still posting. As the years go by, I'm more focused on quality not quantity in my work. I enjoy painting more and more rather than building more model kits. I will upload a video this weekend. Again, thank you for being a loyal viewer. Take care.

Great video, interesting to hear the background to the design and to see both the similarity and the difference, compared to the US bomb. It is a bit of an unusual topic for a build, but you ended up with a great looking model of something rather different!! :)

Thanks. This is a very interesting kit to build because of it's history. :)

This is an interesting kit. Fun would be to build the airplane next to it that carried it. 💥👍💥

As far as I know, this bomb was not dropped from an airplane. Others afterwards were but not this one.
@DutchDaveModels6 ай бұрын
@@qdc748a ah Interesting 🤔 so it was never designed for a plane drop😅
@jerrybaker94875 ай бұрын
There is a good chance that those early bombs, if they were air dropped, it would have been from a Tupolev Tu-4 (NATO Code name Bull). And the Tu-4 was a reverse engineered B-29.

Thank you for watching my video. I am a working man and build my model kits after work or on the weekends. I never timed myself so I don't know. Years ago, I would finish one model kit per week but nowadays, it more of building one model kit per month because of my busy schedule. Also, I enjoy painting more than building the kit so I tend to focus more of my attention on painting. I want to wish you and your family a good day. Honestly 😊😊

@@qdc748a I love your everyday approach to building Miniatures I just picked up a bunch of Maschinen Krieger. I use my Miniatures mostly for gaming. My father and I used to build 1/48 scale World War II airplanes when I was a kid.

Its interesting you say stolen teck. Everything supposably Russian, has been stolen from other countries. Ak 47 comes to mind. Thanks again for video. Godspeed. My friend. Mike😎
@briandenison23256 ай бұрын
The Soviets also copied the B-29 and named it the Tu-4 built by Tupolev.
@CommissarBooks6 ай бұрын
Stolen isn't exactly right for the AK47. It's developed from previous designs, much like most guns. Plus I'm sure the Russians may have invented something at some point. Wikipedia even has the temerity to list these like the Putin lackeys they are.. : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_Russian_innovation
@dimaz12105 ай бұрын
Ак-47 not stolen, but idiots think about sturmgewehr copy.
