What is that pressure release sound every so often? Sounds like a BOV.

Centrifugal Supercharger. All the pressure being released from the blow off valve that is attached to the intercooler. When the boost isn’t being used it’s being forced out the blow off valve. It’s controlled by vacuum

@@CameronAlford Thats pretty sick for aural purposes. I didnt know you could put a BOV on SC vehicles, new to this car stuff (just got an ST and found you shortly after). Looking to get a mustang in a year or so. So this is some inspiration for ideas. Keep modding and having fun man. Appreciate the knowledge share.

@@tearzofthefallen6586 basically just a belt driven turbo. Really good pairing for the high revving nature of the coyote and they’re really intimidating and aggressive in person cause they’re so loud. Almost a hissy noise. Paxton, Vortech, procharger all have that same concept.

I would do ess over any other centrifugal. They're cheaper and make at least as much power likely more all things equal, they weigh less and cost less it's a win win win. I'm a tvs guy but if I got a centrifugal it would Def be ess.

Ess is the new kid and the best right now, super reliable. The kits are way way cheaper then anything else and the quality and workmanship of the brackets and parts are better then a lot of more Expensive bigger name brand stuff.

My ess g3 kit was delivered last Friday. Got 122.5 pulley, fic 1000 cc injectors, & bap. Got to order Wengard tune.

@@CarbonYote no fix. No washers needed. I installed a boost gauge and all was good. Ended up putting a tial bov on and is way better

Ended up sending my g2 in and got a g3x but was never impressed with the difference in sound between the 2. G3x was supposed to be straight cut gears also 2500 miles in and still not near as loud

I feel like 600hp is the sweet spot for these cars. Puts it on par with Z06's(C7) and things like that... but it's not so much that you are worried about breaking things every time you put your foot down. The supporting mods for that power level are minimal, and it should be reliable for years... Posting huge numbers sounds cool, but it costs a fortune and you struggle getting grip, etc... When I boost mine, 600hp at the wheel is my target. That's plenty. Where I live it's all twisty mountain roads. You can't use huge HP up there. You will just end up down in a ravine or off the side of a cliff...

You can go up to a 1000hp on the mustang and still be able to daily drive it without any worries IF you know how to build it right and hold that much power without breaking anything but you are gon have to do oil changes and what not to the vehicle to help it stay daily driven without any issues

Your gonna want minimum 305s in the rear, I went with a drag setup from hooiser and still spin, only no spin at 60mph+ on hot days, so yeah your little shitty tires wont work man trust me, i had to get rid of my shit Continental 285s summer tires
