Great job Tony. I have the 800w AQQA heater running in tandem with a Hygger heater, both through an Inkbird thermostat. I prefer the AQQA one.

Hi Tony, Another great update on the pond project mate. Also can I suggest that you get a ink bird temperature control the temperature because I had two of them heaters that have had trouble with I had one and it cooked all my fry mate. Steve

My main pond runs on a 8000 supafish never had an issue with it being over powered and overflowing.

That is good to hear Carl, now it is running on a low setting it looks ok to me, and running on real low watage😀

@@FARMOORKOI I was watching it fill and it looked like it was coming out about the same rate mine does. If you hear it, make a gurgling sound then that is when the water is running over the 3 bypasses straight down the middle. Depending on how many days that takes will give you an idea if it is flowing too fast or just needs cleaning. In summer mine needs doing every 2-3 days in winter 2 weeks or more. Check each day at first to see how much the water has risen. It won't take you long to learn how many days left before it needs cleaning. I always double boil mine. triple boil in summer. 2nd and 3rd boil I use the hose pipe to refill and dump that water. Rather than filling from pond and having to refill the pond with tap water.
