As someone who's had fish since he was four, this makes me genuinely happy to see! Make sure the paint (I assume it was paint) that's on Patrick's rock isn't dangerous for fish, and I'd recommend a filter to keep the water clean! 😅

This was prob my favorite video ever but as a fish keeper, I'd highly recommend getting a filter. It will keep the tank cleaner and provide the fish with more oxygen so they'll be much healthier. But epic vid dude. Keep up the good work my man.

I would probably recommend for your fish tank getting some bottom-feeders to clean up the bottom of the fish tank like algae and poop that the goldfish producebut at that rate you would have to end up buying the filter system that also comes in air

you HAVE to acclimate the fish. all you have to do to do that is set the jar into the water and leave them there for like 30 minutes to an hour. they need to adjust to the temperature to stay healthy. also you need to get a water heater and filter to keep the water clean. a good idea is to get a snail because it can clean the sides. research what snails can live with the type of fish that you are getting. i do actually really like the fish tank but it would be a good idea to have more hiding places for the fish. i haven't done a ton of research on goldfish so make sure you do your own research. MAKE SURE BEFORE YOU GET YOUR FISH YOU DO A TON OF RESEARCH you do not want to kill the fish or provide a bad life. even though they are fish they should still have a nice life. :))

Be careful with the water part, I'm a fish owner myself, you need a certain formula to add to the water and also a water filter for the fish tank. After you add the formula wait a week or two for the formula to mix into the water by the filter. Also, adding chemicals don't make your fish die, its more of the water if it isn't good for the fish which is why you need the formula. I recommend something called safe-start by tetra since you just started.

I love watching your videos, they always make my day a whole lot brighter. Having kept fish for a long time and having recently set up a new tank, i would recommend a filter, especially since you don't have live plants in the tank. Another idea you may want to consider may be a snail to help with maintenance of algae later down the road, which you can get some really cool snails. One last recommendation I'd like to make is research. Researching whatever you wanna buy has saved me from a whole lot of heart breaks. Regardless i enjoyed the video and hope you enjoy your new aquarium. (P. S, you may want to cover the screen top a little bit to reduce evaporation.)

Those goldfish can get as big as your hand if not bigger. If they live long enough you may need to rethink their homing situation. It’s fine for now but as a baseline about five gallons per inch of fish is needed.

A few things to say Get a filter for the tank If you get fish again please acclimate them to the water by floating them in bags in the tank water to get them used to the temperature of the water so they don’t die from temperature shock There’s a few other things you should do in the future that I won’t get into just google the proper way to start a fish tank to keep the fish alive other than that I love your videos keep doing what you’re doing

love that you're getting into fish, but if you want them to live long term i would highly recommend a mechanical filter rated for at least 30 gallons since carp and related fish are very dirty and use up oxygen in the water very fast, and if you can, get some nitrifying bacteria and low-light aquarium plants to cycle the tank so the water doesn't build up with ammonia and nitrate. other things that would greatly help would be a heater and thermometer, and get some snails or shrimp to eat leftover food and algae.
