SIGILS if you are looking for more decor in your trainyard you can go for power poles and converters/transformers, which is another reason to use electricity. Transferring rotation through shafts underground/overhead will be a massive pain if wireless options don't exist. Also, with the amount of buildings that you will make, it might be better for some to have most of the inner workings buried underground or in tall skyscrapers. Reducing the surface area of your buildings means more buildings can be built. Your milkshake factory, for example, takes up half your first floor, so it would be better if it is layered in underground or above-ground floors.

@Sigils Considering New Age gives you Nuclear Reactors, and those will vastly outstrip anything Biffle has currently, I say go big and make one. Also, not sure if you already have a plan for your new base roof, but if you don't mind adding a small mod, check out 'Block of Sky'. It gives 2 blocks, one with the texture of the sky, which will match both day and night in real time ingame, and a Void textured block, like the portal from the end. I am also kinda curious about if your modpack is available to play myself or not.

For the new base, please look into the upgraded machines, there are copper, brass, and train versions of the mixers/press/gearboxes/etc. that can work better/differently and will make things easier. For example, the copper mixer can mix items at double speed but only for recipes that only use liquids.

Sigils, the create mod is an amazing series, I'm so glad you're doing it. One of the last Minecraft youtubers I can bear to watch their new content. It's somewhat concerning that it's become just a SMP between you and Biffle as zud has just outright quit the server clearly. Please invite some new members. There are many ways you could improve your factories. First thing you need to do is optimizing. A level 9 steam engine (the ones you are using) can support 9 steam engine blocks each, meaning 9x the amount of Stress than if you were using only one (as you are now.) A bigger boiler, more water, and superheated blazes will allow you to get all the way up to level 18 steam engines. Another important thing. Stress (SU) and RPM (the speed of your system) are two different stats that don't directly affect each other. SU is equal to how much stress your system can handle. A system that is overstressed can't function at full capacity. RPM is how fast your rotational force is. The faster your rotational force, the faster your machines, but the more stress they use. Having more SU won't increase/decrease RPM. A cheap way to increase RPM to the maximum of 256 is by chaining a large cog to a small cog diagonally, covering the large cog with a casing, and then placing a large cogwheel onto the small cogwheel's shaft, then chaining that diagonally. This works because every time a large cog transfers rotation to a diagonal small cog, the small cog will spin twice as fast. This also works inversely. This is called gear ratioing. To improve the efficiency of your engines DRASTICALLY - Get a dripstone farm. With a dripstone farm, pipe it into a tank that pours lava into buckets, that then are placed into a depot/storage for EXCLUSIVELY lava-filled buckets. Place this as close to your steam engine as you can. Then, program a mechanical arm to take lava buckets from the lava bucket depot, deposit the lava into a blaze burner, and then deposit the empty bucket it's holding into a funnel that goes into the empty bucket storage. This will drastically reduce the amount of lava you need to run the same amount of blaze burners, allowing you to use it for other things. Also - Cobblestone can be easily farmed in bulk using mechanical pistons, pumps, and etc (but it's kind of exploit-y). Other creator have made tutorial on how to do this, so you can probably search that up if you need. Some neat things with carrying rotations: Mechanical Belts can be built horizontally straight upwards, and vertically straight to any one side, but not vertically and diagonal to any side. They also perfectly carry rotation through any shaft on the belt. Encased Chain Drives can carry rotation any length horizontally or vertically as well as switching to face their output/input shaft vertically or horizontally as long as the chain drive remains as a 1x1 line with no turns. Like how Shaft Machines can carry rotation through their shafts, Cog Machines such as the mechanical pump can carry rotation through their cogs, and also have all the same functionalities as a Small Cogwheel, including gear ratioing.
