Hey, great videos and very helpful. Without sounding like an idiot, I patched two stage headbanger 10's into the setup but they are not reacting to any commands, and two showreel stage blinders, that seem to be just working off each other and going on and off randomly. Lol feeling a bit clueless with the the whole thing, any advice?

Your videos have been the most beneficial and reliable source for training on MyDMX 2.0 I have found. I would really like to learn more about programming steps with moving heads. Also, the best way to set moving heads to Sound active mode. I need to learn as well the difference in the pan/tilt restrictions on the intimidators if possible. I'm not sure what the 180, 360, etc means in terms of light performance.

Nice video joe, there is a much easier way to select the same channel for every fixture that you have more than two of. E.g. Say you have 8 inno spot pros and you really don't want to turn the dimmer on for every one, hold down shift and just select the dimmer channel for your first inno spot pro and as you move it every dimmer channel in your spot pros will correspond😀 hope this helps as it saves me a lot of time👍🏽

thanks for the tutorials. im thinking of getting my dmx 3. would you recommend using a different laptop for lighting, separate to the music laptop? or, is this software stable when ran alongside VDJ?

Well explained, you can also demonstrate how is the process to make the connections with the cables for the lights and show how we must connect to the interface the last cable so that everything is ready to work with mydmx2.0 thank you very much

Well explained video! If I set up a scene, with let's say 4 beam movingheads and 4 wash movingheads, what will happen if i use that same scene, but with only 2 of each, or maybe only the beams? Is there anything i have to do - both with the scenes, but also the DMX-adresses on the lights themselves? :)

Joe great video tutorial, I have a quick question. I am building simple static color scenes for uplighting for a wedding and it seems the the scenes are not automatically recording. For example if I move the red fader to 100% the scene records and I can save it as a red scene, however when I pick the same color from the color box as you describe it the fader moves to 100% red but the scene is not saved. Am I missing something

I bought my DMX Buddy 2.0 and never used it till now. Software is hard to find and seems a security risk. What do you recommend for Like Catalina with a simple 256 channel system. I produce video's and only want slow changing lights no moving lights and at times quick changing lights. I have two light boards. I tried using some led lights with no brand on them but figure there are 8 channels in them. I hooked them up and picked random light brands and when I got them to work somewhat they flash at times and are very slow response. Help

I have a question for you cause my personal MY-DMX works a bit differently when creating scenes on my MacBook Pro.. Are you running the Beta version in this video ? I'm curious cause I had to delete my Beta version & resort back to the original version cause mine kept crashing.. I really can't wait for them to make the Beta version update ready.. Hey y'all. Need some help. I just bought an ADJ mydmx buddy for a very simple, 8 light (LED PAR) show. Literally all wash cues of different color hues and a simple chase/strobe sequence. I'm on an iMac, so I'm using the 2017 update for Mac. I loved how simple and easy it was to patch the lights in. Then, I began creating scenes and made several with different colors, etc. Each time I'd be done creating a new scene, I'd press the file icon to save it, then hit the ➕ icon to start making a new scene. Things were going awesome and I was happy with how easy it was. Until...I closed the program and then re-opened it only to find that all my hard work and even the fixtures I patched, DID NOT SAVE!!! Argh!!! What did I do wrong?! Where exactly does/should it save to? Is my work really lost or is it secretly saved somewhere and I just don't know it? Please help!!!

When I set up the moving heads and I pan them, I want them to cross like the video you have. They go the same direction. what are you doing that I'm not seeing to make them cross and move opposite on the x axis?
