Building a small square bonsai/plant display stand

In this video I make a small square traditional bonsai display stand from reclaimed cherry. I rescued the lumber from an armoire that a neighbor was going to take to the garbage dump. I always use reclaimed lumber whenever possible.

You are as OCD as I am. Color mismatch would have annoyed the hell out of me too. Really nice project and great outcome. The dowel/stretcher assembly would have been a prime candidate for refinishing. Beautiful things are made from recycled materials……keep collecting. Taipan Wooworks
