thanks man. i got my fx3 on the way. its been hard to find videos on cages that actually show the unique challenges of putting them together. everything seems to be paid ads where they just focus on the features of the rig and talk like theyre perfect

I appreciate that, thank you.

Rigs are so personal. Like hearing why you did each configuration.

Congrats on your Rig man! Sadly my left handle kinda broke on my last shoot ...😔I bought mine November 2021 and now it doesn't lock anymore when rotated clockwise. Counter-clockwise still works though. Really sad thing, because I loved that handle😭

Oh no! Did you reach out to them about it?

@@Joe_Does_Stuff yes, tried to rech Smallrig through their website, but haven't heard from them since.

UPDATE on my side story: So I've messaged the Smallrig Customer Service via their website. After a while they reached out to me and asked me to provide a video proof and my order details(I ordered the handle from Amazon). Of course I provided everything needed and in the end they just send me a new Side Handle. That's quite cool, but you have to keep in mind that the locking mechanism will loosen over time if you use the handle on heavier rigs.

Nice first cinema build. What was the right angle XLR cable you ended up with, please? Make and Model.

That second xlr cable, the short one, where did you get that one from? Not sure if I missed the link in your description

I just tried to find it on Amazon.com, but didn't manage. Here's the link to the one I bought, on Amazon.nl: Oluote XLR Cable, Microphone... www.amazon.nl/dp/B09JWMF3N3?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Lexar cards shall not pass. Had 2 down, with the footage. Lost some money there. Had to work twice.

That sounds awful. I'll make sure to dual-record, in that case.
