I’m loving the detailed work going on, great job on the smoke box and fire box doors. Looks like you got lucky not having to shim out the sight glass elbows or are the BSP/NPT threads? Steady progress but as they say in the aircraft world, 90% complete, only another 90% to go 😂. Watching your videos I think it’s about time I made another of my own 😜. Cheers!

I love seeing the processes behind your metalwork! I'd assume you have a small machine shop to clean up and fabricate the parts for these lokies?

Thank you!! Some come in rough and I can usually clean them up with a grinder and or solvents. Some come on already machined and just need a good de-greasing. Glad you’re enjoying the builds!! 😃

Are you building one that you can ride like other miniature railways or is it to small?

Yes!! These you can ride. Their miniature live steam locomotives that you can ride! This little locomotive can pull 6-8 people on a good day 😃

Quick question, where would one find wheels to make a train like this. I have looked everywhere and found nothing, so any info helps. I am specifically looking for wheels around 4 or 5 inches

Great question! This particular locomotive is brand new, but Thomas’s parts on the other hand where looking pretty rough when I got them. This will be a brand new engine when done!
