Tornados will rip apart anything above ground... That's why tornado shelters are usually basements. Also, doorways are for earthquakes, not tornados, bathtubs are used in case the house caves in. It increases you survivability, but doesn't keep you from getting sucked up. Living with tornados since I was born (53 years at this point).

I've seen a few above ground storm shelters. They aren't as good but they can work in places where basements can't be made. They're typically single pour reinforced concrete with a steel door that swings inwards.

Also, the bathtub thing is outdated now That was good advice when the tubs were solid metal, but now they're mostly acrylic, or polyester. Metal ones are a lot rarer now

The first part when the tornado was refusing to go in the direction of the house is actually realistc, because 9 times out of 10 an individual house in the middle of nowhere will only get flesh wounds from shrapnel, rarely a direct hit. So Drae got what he wanted a realistic tornado experience, except for the part where he doesnt start floating into the vortex

The reason why it was so yellow was because you changed the tornado attraction location 😂 Instead of going to the house. It went to YOU. After tearing apart your bunker, the piece that was yellow was swept up, you can see it spinning around and around inside the tornado afterwards.

Funny thing is, Sebulba (the one in the orange and black podracer) cheated in the race Anakin Skywalker participated in. He sabotaged other podracers before the race began and used devious gadgets like buzzsaws to mess with other opponents.

Hide in a door frame for an earthquake or a structurally unsound building, fast moving winds don't care about door frames. The bathtub thing is better than nothing if the bathtub is mounted to the floor but worthless if you have a claw foot tub. Then you have a flying bathtub to ride in.

its called trusses/ rafters and framing. trusses and rafters hold up the roof, you attach soffit and fascia to the trusses/rafters framing is the structure of the house itself minus the roof, you attach drywall,siding, and flooring to the framing. theres many differnt parts to framing such as floor joists, studs, headers, beams, but this is the basics and then you have the foundation that holds all of that up

For a tornado you either want to be in a storm shelter or be in the most fortified position in your house with as many walls between you and the outside if it’s a open area you also want to put a couch/bed in front of you to stop debris from hitting you also you want to be as low to the ground as possible which is why basements are a good idea if you’re on the road and traveling you want to keep moving and get out of its way before you get caught in it’s outer draft having spent time watching and talking to local storm chasers this is the amount of info i have compiled and remember tho if someone would be kind who lives in tornado alley’s can add more or correct me in certain areas i would greatly appreciate it

As someone who lives in Tornado Alley we normally just stand outside and wait until absolutely necessary. It’s a form of entertainment. A dangerous form of entertainment but upon all seriousness storm cellar is the best way to go but if caught outside it’s best to find a bridge or hold onto to something that is embedded into the ground like water pipes. Just watch the movie twister. It’s a pretty good representation of what to do

OBS studio and VideoPad video editor are probably the best options for recording and editing gameplay footage and their price makes them ideal for those just starting out. I use them for my channel (not the one I'm commenting from) and having used Premiere Pro, iMovie and Final Cut, I prefer VideoPad. It's much more intuitive and user friendly than the rest.
