Thank you . I love that bodylanguage that our horses show. Its so true We never have to guess if we learn their language .

What i noticed after some time around horses that I should listen more about my instincts. You could also say: "I read the energy around me." Just in a more primitive way. My Instincts around horses are pretty accurate so i always know what to expect and sometimes I need to change the energy to get a more positive outcome.

Hi BlackIMoon! Great points and perspective. Horses have a wonderful way of showing us who we are and where we are emotionally and mentally.

How do you navigate this in the context of lessons? Some days my horse is super into the grooming, tacking up and riding process and other times he's not. When I don't have a scheduled lesson I can modify my own plan for our time together to suit his needs, but we have two lessons a week that I have to get him ready for even on the days where he's not feeling it. I find that hard to handle because I want both of our needs and wants to be met and sometimes they don't match up.

Ty! I discovered that my horse likes between his cheeks under his tail rubbed and on his inner thigh! He even spread his leg out to help me reach under there!

Thank you Caroline you again answered my question about how much I should allow Bear to nip and use His mouth. I felt it was all play but he has hurt me . He has reared up as well . We say No . But just not sure if he understands the” No “is because it’s too much ? We , my husband and I , never hit him nor will we. How do you have a happy place with your horse being affectionate with His Mouth ? Laura 💜 Bear 🐴💜

I feel like the basic understanding here was that you need to listen when your horse talks to you through the body language and you communicate through body language since they don't speak human language
