It was fun to see people I follow at the same wedding. It just shows that some of you have a more personal interaction than just KZbin and I love it. It takes time with sons. My son and I can talk on the phone for hours now. We have had those on and off moments during certain ages where we weren't as close but as he has gotten older, that has changed. Ugh, I need to get ready for a doctor's appointment. I have been nothing but go to doctors lately.

I’m a teacher of young children and the basic foundation of my classroom is to create a safe, consistent environment where children will want to be. I know this is why at times, some children will cry and not want to go home. It isnt about the toys or playground. Its that they feel safe there and crave that feeling. Very similar to craving safety in our homes as you mentioned. Loved this video.

I do disagree with your belief on "needing" a mom. I was raised by my father along with my younger brother. I am a 49 year old mother of a 29 year old son. I have never had any issues with adjusting, no issues with confidence, esteem etc. My mother could not afford to raise me and my brother so my father took custody. I love my mother. However, I am very grateful for the upbringing that I had. My son is the most respectful, kind, intelligent person I know (besides myself LOL). It is okay to have different beliefs. I simply believe that you need people around you who love you, respect you and provide you with opportunities to grow. My son and I have the best relationship. I could not have created a child myself that would be anymore of a blessing.

I so loved this content today, you and Brooke gorgeous dressed fancy or in sweats!!! I truly cry a bit when you do these videos because memories sweet memories. I spent wonderful alone time with my Mom throughout my life. Her life lessons stories from her childhood showed me it's ok to speak out, always to be me, to trust my gut, do the right thing, she taught me how to pray, and to be proud of the people who came before me her parents, Dad, and his parents. When I am lucky enough to spend time with 1st and 2nd cousins I spent my childhood with, they call me by Mom's name now lol When my Mom passed she was 91. I was 51, I miss her and my Dad every day. My parents wisdom was laid out to me by them talking casually, stories of their youth and adulthood, I learned more from them then a lifetime of college could ever give me, most importantly how to respect others and myself. God bless you and your family Lisa, I pray parents take the time to show interest in their children while giving their children examples of their own lives as you discussed here in your content. You speak from the heart and that is what makes you a beautiful person!

LISA!!!I loved your beautiful talk! Too sad you don't speak to young mothers. Happy to hear you enjoyed my home town! Grove Park Inn has some impressive history in who has stayed there decades past. You would have looked across the golf course to the home my grandparents built. Most people come for longer and go to the Folk Art Center which has beautiful craft items done in the methods of the 1800's. Nothing like a handmade linen and silk scarf. These ladies raise the animal, card the fibers, spin fibers on a full size spinning wheel, and weave the thread on their settle. You might like to look up Vicky Vepperman. A favorite time is fall for driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. Reservations have to be made way in advance. There are many resturants around town and one, the Corner Kitchen is in Biltmore Village. Brook might like to get married at the solarium at Biltmore House; that would have to be arranged months in advance.
