Jim Powell speaking. Do you guys build cars for some people? I am new to the site and one night I was watching and you were calling a guy to tell him that he was the winner of a car. As an old dude who served in Vietnam in the late sixties in a fighter squadron, I bought a 69 Chevelle. A 350/300 with bucket seats and a Muncie 4 speed. It was marina blue with a black vinyl top and black interior. For its time, it was some car. Good looking, nice lines. Great grill and the rear end had the best fitting tail lights to fit nicely in the design. We did our own tune-ups on those V-8’s and did our own oil changes. Heading out for cruising and some short street racing. Great times and muscle car era. Cruising, meeting girls, having a beer. Parking in grocery store parking lots and talking cars with guys from the other side of the city. We don’t compare with the speed of today, but we started it all.
