As a Kenyan I find it stupid that Ruto's government has become the new barrier to East African Community Regional market by banning milk products from Uganda just to fight the retired President who owns Brookside. Kenya will never have a much milk supply like Uganda and we need to give each other business opportunities. These politicians are very myopic!

@@meddy7093 yes, it has, and our Kenyan President is using double speak about Africans needing to trade together to enjoy the benefits, yet the first thing he did was block our biggest trading partner Uganda and signs a deal with EU on Agricultural exports. He talks about climate change and then lifts cutting down of trees which reverses the gains made in the last five years without putting adequate measures to safeguard against deforestation. That is why people don't trust us Kenyans these days. What we say is not what we do. What a hypocrite we have as a President and when will East African Community ever unite with such selfish leaders?

Kenya bans Ugandan goods, and yet Uganda is literally a supermarket for Kenyan goods. One day, Uganda will be forced to retaliate by banning some Kenyan products.
@BS-kl9yf Жыл бұрын
@@apollo6154 it would be unfortunate but I wish it happens so that these useless leaders lose that revenue and wake up. Using votes to vote them out never works because they buy everyone to have their way to power, even when majority of Kenyans don't like them. Banning Kenyan goods and giving Tanzania more business business would make them realise that reciprocating fair business cooperation is better than banning goods.
