I've been tattooing for over twenty years and I made myself five tattoo coil machines, two of them were made only with scrap metal. I've been using them for years and they never disappointed me. So, I'm 56 years old and I'm still working with my coil machines, with Micky Sharpz and Danny Harking, definitely the hybrid Micky Sharpz is from far,one of my favourites. Thank you for posting the assembly of this amazing tool,it's always a good help for those who have started their own tattoo business or apprenticeship. Coils always will be legends!!!

Thanks so much for this video! I’m currently appreciating and my boss has an assessment where he or another artist takes apart the coil and I put it back together and run it. I already have a power supply, all the tools needed, and coil but I was a bit confused on how to assemble it, this helps a lot! I’ll be putting it all together tomorrow. Thanks again😁

Currently training I am… my Sensei tells me I am not allowed to use a Rotary until I can build and use a coil machine with ease… Great video I feel I watching it a several times…

its a contact screw in the us that hits the spring then the rubber band is so old schoolers didnt have to bend springs on the armature bar

I have a question about the frame of the machine, you plug the negative side of your clip cord in it directly. How come that when you touch the frame of the machine when it's under tension you don't get an electrical shock ?
