Probably already answered on the Element14 community forums or somewhere else on their website, but they call themselves that because the 14th element on the periodic table is Silicon, and I guess Element14 sounds more cool than just calling your business Silicon. ..oh yeah..also very cool helping hands hack with the house wire and alligator clips! I may make one for myself so I can Hold All The Things!

The balls are of approx 37mm diameter and the lowest density strips of neopixels are 33mm. the only option is to use ws2811 chains or design your own boards. Looking forward to your next project
