Here are some tips from a rail sim universe pro! 8:11 That's actually a high platform for people who can't climb the stairs to get onboard. Unfortunately, markers aren't that common on american transit systems, but you can try to line your doors up as close as possible to the high platform. 8:44 When you begin to move, turn on your bell and set your ditch lights to flash. Once you have started moving, you can turn off the bell and set the ditch lights to on. Same thing for when you approach a station or railroad crossing. 9:41 The horn situation is complicated. When you start to move or approach any (including stations you don't stop at), hold H (horn button) for around 3 seconds. When you approach a railroad crossing, you don't have to sound your horn, EXCEPT for railroad crossings between Golden Glades Station and Miami Airport Station. When you do use your horn at railroad crossings, do 2 long blasts (3 seconds) 1 long blast (1 second), and a final blast that should last until you go over the crossing. 11:33 There's a chance that you will derail if you break the speed limit, which means your passengers will go oof and not get to their destination! 13:09 I'd actually consider that a pretty good stop.
