I've got something similar but mine is a 2lt petrol engine. I plan to do an engine rebuild, then instal an ecs tuning kit (turbo, cold air intake, oil catch can, new cobra exhaust system, exhaust manifold, haltec elite ecu), replace my gearbox with a dsg one from a gti perelli edition, high pressure fuel injectors and low pressure fuel pump... It works. instal dope sequential led head and tail lights, carbon fibre mirrors and bonnet, body kit, sunroof instal, mid tier coil overs, 2nd hand porsche brembos, the list goes on.. Im dedicated to this built. I jus wanna look at it when done and be proud of turning a sheep into a monster. Hoping for 450 plus bhp. Wish me luck

This looks like the dream of a 19 year old license-fresh balkan kid. Even worse when we talk about an overdone style on a turbo 2.0 diesel with less the power than a naturally aspirated 1.6 honda petrol from 1990.. I mean, centered exhaust on a 4 cyl. diesel... come on :)) I totally see its purpose on a glorious VR6, but here? To atract noisy attention to a tractor? Do not buy an android multimedia. They're all chinese crap. Buy a proper 2 din pioneer multimedia, which will massively improve the sound in the car ( android multimediad don't have an amp)

Im thinking of buying a tdi golf, but Ive heard that they can be expensive to fix because of the engine. Have you had any expensive problems with yours?

If you choose the right engine it won't be that expensive. In my opinion the best options are 1.9tdi and 2.0tdi BMM, which is the 8-valve one. The 2.0tdi BKD 16-valve is known to crack the head and it gets pricey to repair, and the 2.0tdi BMN 170hp has issues with the injectors.
