It would have felt a lot better if you had just said that discovering Jean so quick was going to doom your run so you reloaded. No reasonable person would begrudge you for that, you're already playing on crazy high difficulty with multiple additional handicaps (no diplomacy/propaganda)

I mean it isn't just and editing mistake, you actually "undiscovered" and AI which changed the game difficulty. Can happen, but hide the fact is make it cheating in my view.

@@OBalagee I agree - loading an old save and "undiscovering" the Pirate definitely detracts from "MAX Difficulty No Exceptions | Hardmode Survival" and takes away credibility from all the other playthroughs. Without plantains and sugarcane (and no hops in OW) it would have made it essentially impossible but it would have been nice to see the attempt instead of loading the old save.

If I remember correctly from one of your old plays, if you have the enemy in a constant state of war, they cannot follow your level, and it will become okay for you as soon as you have your economy rolling. So, in this old play, you had to make peace with them so that they could get close to your economy. Do you think this one will not happen?

Great episode! It's nice to see you being aggressive. Are passive traders allowed in this playthrough? That could be a way get hops in for the time-being. You could sell your excess soap to offset the costs.

Yes, they have huge advantages early on and you can only take over midgame+

Quite easy actually - mostly flat, with towers and two distinct smaller hills. Not that difficult to read after 6 years :D
