Wow, I’m so glad you made these videos. I’ve been looking into building an event venue for about 5 years now. Right now my biggest hurdle is trying to buy land that’s not for sale in an area that I grew up in. Can’t wait to watch more of these videos and learn as much as possible!

This is amazing!! Plus ya'll own a husky, we have two. My husband and I currently own a used motorcycle dealership in Olrando, FL. We had talked about a wedding venue but honestly didn't have enough capital to take the plunge. Now that we have the dealership under our belt, we are looking sell our home and purchase 10+ acres that we can live on, fix motorcycles, and eventually open a wedding venue on.

Coming soon! In about two weeks I’ll be launching an entire episode on financing/lending and working with banks! HUGE part of our project and one of the most difficult parts in my opinion.

Hey OG! Nice to meet you!! All of our building plans and site plan are on our website under the Gallery page! I’d highly recommend you build something unique to your area and what would do well in your market, but feel free to steal my ideas of what types of rooms to include! 😜 Obviously there are SO many factors that go into how much a building will cost, but for us, we landed at about $175 per square foot which is pretty industry standard for commercial construction! I wish you the BEST of luck! Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to assist!!!

Hey Derek! Our project was right around 2.8MM all in including land, construction, and FF&E. The building itself was $2.1MM

Were you able to afford the monthly payments while not making any money yet??

Hey Jessica! Most loans during new construction you only pay interest during construction. We were actually able to work in the interest payments TO our loan, so we won’t actually pay anything until the month after our first event. However, right after we got our loan funded we started taking bookings and collecting deposits which would be money available to use as well. However, we personally aren’t needing to.
