Yea that would be interesting, not sure if how that would work. Could probably add a feature to check update against database and if current isn't current then prompt user to update though

Great video. I do not why but this does not work for me in Linux (minute 34:26): onPressed: widget.controller.text.isNotEmpty ? () {} : null, The IconButton is ever disabled. Does not matter if the text is empty or not. But this: onPressed: () {print(widget.controller.text.isNotEmpty)} really prints True or False when text is empty or not. ??

Oh sorry, I remember now this is something that only works on reload because of how we have it set up at that this moment. It should work later when we add the right text editing controllers

@@Spellthorn for solving this problem this is what i do : in class _CustomTextFieldState i add : after final _focusNode = FocusNode(); bool isTextFieldNotEmpty = false; @override void initState() { super.initState(); widget.controller.addListener(_onTextChanged); } void _onTextChanged() { setState(() { isTextFieldNotEmpty = widget.controller.text.isNotEmpty; }); } and in void dispose i add : widget.controller.removeListener(_onTextChanged); after that do not touch the rest of the code This should allow the copy button to activate immediately without needing to reload the application. I juste use setState to trigger an update of the widget state when there is a change in the text of the text field💡💡
