I watched you work on that roof thinking why does he not have a safety harness on but see that you completed without falling that was great. You are doing a wonderful job building the house and oh the awesome view you have to look at on any morning of the week. I see you are adding some trees parts into the build that will bring some of the woods into your place that I know you love so much. I would have thought you would have insulated the wall because I know it must get awful cold up on the side of that mountain. Even using moss would help to insulate. When you zoomed out, you could see the countryside and with that I could tell the land that house is being built on former pastureland. I do enjoy watching your videos and look forward to your next one, take care my friend.

Hi, thank you very much for your valuable comment. I used safety belts in very critical places on the roof, but in general, I did a bit of a crippling job, I shouldn't have done it... I didn't use insulation materials because I thought I could at least finish my house before winter comes and I could stay here for a while without my yacht. Sometimes something is missing because the place where I will buy supplies is too far away and I make a time schedule to both produce content and finish the house. But as I read these, I draw new plans for myself.

Lookin' good my friend. A tip for installing tongue & groove board. Take a scrap piece of t&g off cut and use that for your hammering block for seating your t&g boards. This way you wont bruise the tongue on the board. 👍

Hi my friend ! The stilts of the house are painted black aesthetically or did you use the yakisugi "burnt wood surface" method, like the Japanese huts? Sheep's wool insulation wall would be good I think and natural foam outside. Stones found for stability on 1/2 house base, which fills part of the slope and isolates the floor from the snow. The front of the house would visually remain on stilts. Fantastic work, proud of you, you know it. 😊☕🐦

Hello, thanks for the comment. I painted the poles with pitch so that they would not be affected by water. I'm planning to give the outer surface of the house the look of a stone made of foam.
