This was our first time using the WOW (wall on wheels) as intended and I think it worked out pretty great! Exciting to re-imagine the wall for the next project. If you want to build your own mobile studio backdrop you can find the video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqqXY2yVppp-bc0

For those who do not understand lighting, this shows a glimpse of how the background in anything you intentionally want to happen, lighting is key. I like that your set is in a basement and was built with the intention of changing out things. I never thought you would go through so much detail and have so much idea of how you wanted the finished set to look like before it was done. As an artist I understand a white canvas which is the board is the most priceless thing a creative can have at her/his disposal. It is priceless. I was fortune enough to be a part of a website which is kinky but uses lighting for the photos and videos we did. I Love the single light over the subject and everything else is dark. So the boom idea I totally understand. I did not set up lighting but assisted and know the use of the light boxes and such you used here. I so love your creativity. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the good work!
@BeckiandChris3 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much! Lighting is SO important and often gets neglected. We try and think of what it will look like before setting up, that’s a habit from when we did photography client work. I preferred going into a shoot with an idea vs trying to come up with something on the spot, saves time! It’s almost like seeing a post processed photograph finished before even hitting the shutter to capture the image!

Gander Airport - have you guys seen the 50s modern-o-rama interior!?!? The BBC did a nice video with the click-bait title "The secret airport for celebrities". Abstract sculpture! Huge mural! Eggplant wall with built in clocks for different locations around the world! Uh-mazing. Future background idea as you probably know, you can download sectionals as PDFs, stitch (and maybe tweak) them and have a massive trip area printed on a large format roll-fed printer for a continuous background...

You could in the future use rare earth magnets to add your markers so you don't have to rescrew in items in the future. This would allow for your sets to be more modular rather than having to be redrilled/remade each series. However, now that I think about it, Becky you might want to make a new set each time... lol
