Thank you for this! JS enthusiast here so I appreciate finding this when there wasn't much materials on JS + AI Agents. I was mostly using MongoDB when I was working with the MERN stack but haven't touched it in a while after I started working with AWS and, specifically, DynamoDB. So it's nice to be coming back to MongoDB for this exciting new chapter in my developer journey!

you are missing a lot of API KEY configs for the langchain/openai sdk. i got a lot of errors for "quota" , credits etc. So i would recommend you say in the video that an apiKey needs to be passed as a field in the ChatOpenAI initiation. Apart from that all went smooth, cool intro !

Sorry that you had issues. As long as you have your API key in your .env file there shouldn't have been any problems. If you have reached your quota with OpenAI, you would need to buy more credits with them or you could use another free alternative.

For a beginner or introduction, AI agent script in JavaScript you should’ve scrapped everything that wasn’t just for AI agent and JavaScript because while a bigger fan or application is nice I don’t need to see any of that. I just want to see about AI agent. Tell her about AI agents Alone. I don’t wanna get caught up on anything else and I don’t wanna waste time on anything else because I have many other things I need to do and for that reason here at 12 minutes in and nothing has happened yet I’m gonna bail
