Hi Joh , just come across your channel, and I look forward to more updates very soon, I would have thought for a modern kit, the instructions should be perfect, and you have yourself another subscriber, bedt regards from Australia.

Hi Les - thanks very much for subscribing! As for the kit - well, I find myself saying it again and again - if KH would just take some feedback from their customers and make fundamental changes to their kit design they'd really dominate a corner of the market.

An interesting choice of subject John and I thought you were having a rest from KH for a while but a great subject nonetheless. REALLY interesting tips such as the open gun ports etc. issues which will be most useful. Look forward to the rest of the videos and keep up the great work. p,s I know you want to do that Austrian version but that Swiss one looks irresistible! Gary

Thanks very much Gary! I really wanted to stop with the KH stuff for a while but I kind of obliged myself after the tie with the Sherman. I've said it before - if only KH would focus on engineering for just one kit instead of opening up every conceivable hatch they'd have a license to print money. The detail on the F-5 is great, but almost every point of connection for large assemblies are small or non-existent attachments. The nose assembly and the rear fuselage are joined with a lip that's about 1mm wide - completely unacceptable. As for the Swiss test plane - I'm still thinking about it.

Hi like to know which rivet and scriber you used on this F-5E 1/32? Nice build
@MisterGsWorkbench3 жыл бұрын
Hi Stan - for rows of rivets I use RB Productions "Rivet-R", which comes with four different wheels. For individual rivets I use a small metal hobby punch. No idea what brand - it actually came in a cheapo hobby tool set. Thanks for watching!

Hi john, again another interesting build. I think i have scribing down! What's you technique for riveting ? This has been a problem in past builds. Looking forward to part two.
@MisterGsWorkbench3 жыл бұрын
Thanks very much Tom! I have two methods I've used for riveting. First I use is a riveting wheel from RB - it attaches to a regular xacto handle and is easy to maneuver. The other tool is just a sharp punch inserted into another xacto handle. To keep my lines straight i use photoetch rulers since they're flexible.
