I'm tempted to fit a TDV6 into a Defender, as it's smaller in every dimension than a Td5 except width, and even then it's just 9 millimetres wider. Even better would be the TDV8, but I doubt that's quite so straightforward!

Well… Like some others already said … so nice to see you again 👍 Two minutes into the video, I already learned something, my TD5 110 HT LHD , has that CLONK in the back… now I know why 🙏🏻 Thank you for that… Wich brings me to my question sir… in a True European fashion… do you do Left Hand Drive Modells as well..?🤔 I’m asking here just before I waste your time replying to endless emails…! Greetings from Germany everybody 👋

nice video guys, I would love to have my 1999 Mk2 pajero converted to a bow engine, she runs a 3.5gdi engine at the moment but I think the bow engines are way better

Hi guys, the BMW conversion must be a hell of a financial project🤔 or the 90, I really wonder why people just don't buy a newer Defender fitted with all the goodies inside and windows installed?

Brilliant video just a question can cruise control be added to land rover if you put a switch into BMW module?

J/M. Could we see you guys address the Def' drivetrain weakness to maintain or improve reliability with this powerhaus ? Doubling the power/torque without any other associated strengthening such as chassis, axles or diff' changes such as a Salisbury and "No Spin" traction aids ! V.

Will you be filming the ac install on the tdci? Curious if you'd run into a similar issue I had. Where basically the compressor didn't kick in once complete, only to find the tdci (apparently) has a weak earth and needed a simple relay.
@juicemotors2 жыл бұрын
We have already converted quite a few Tdci’s we haven’t had this issue, they click straight away and go ice cold, I’ll film this one to show

Love these videos, ive got a 90 puma that i'm keeping factory original but my project im about to start is a series 2a with an old daihatsu engine in it and a knackered gearbox, looking at what engines i can use, 200tdi seems to be popular.. Anybody else have any ideas what i can use with little modifications for mounts/loom etc?
@juicemotors2 жыл бұрын
A 300tdi is the easy way to go for a series! Look up Steve Parker conversions, they sell a kit to bolt in with all pipe works etc

I AM THINKING ABOUT STICKING AN M57 AUTO IN MY DOUBLE CAB JUST THE AUTO BIT HAS GOT ME A BIT CONFUSED AS SOME PLACES SAY YOU HAVE TO USE A CERTAIN GEARBOX HAS TO BE AN 8 SPEED IF I REMEBER THE ONE WITH THE NEW STYLE GEARSTICK
@captarmour2 жыл бұрын
man I hate how landrover pushes these engines way forward with these long bell housings! my 110 2.5 petrol is a mid engine! way back against the bulkhead, almost all the weight of the engine behind the front axle! what would be neat is from the clutch and flywheel a short shaft to the gearbox aka unimog. to change a clutch drop the shaft pull bellhousing and change clutch! not too mention easier conversions ...or like g wagon, shaft between box and transfer...
@pauldent30592 жыл бұрын
I have a question, instead of a bmw swap, how difficult do you think dropping in a 3.0 audi v6 diesel in instead, more hp and bigger torque 😁😁😁

I've seen lots of people upgrade there brakes but I've never seen or herd anyone upgrade there brake servo or Reservoir to go with the bigger brakes. Is this somthing that isn't necessary or is it done and just not talked about?
@juicemotors2 жыл бұрын
You must have the double banded servo fitted - they won’t work without the increased pressure. There’s no need to upgrade brake servo or reservoir, they bolt straight on and perform!
