Thanks mate. You'll need to use a paid plugin to support video posts. Throughout my Cameo clone tutorial, I used the Ziggeo plugin to generate and host the content. Would recommend checking it out. Hope this helps!

Glad it could help! And on the user profile page, you can just add a repeating group that only displays posts created by the person whos profile you're viewing. Hope this helps point you in the right direction.

Since the feed only displays posts of users you are currently following, whenever you upload a post it doesn't get sent to the main feed? How do I ensure that I am "following" myself?

Happy to help. When a user registers an account, you could add an additional step into the workflow, then add the 'current user' to their own list of 'following users'. Hope this helps!

@@KhangLe-vm3ps If you find that it's not displaying the fields at all, try zooming into your browser. Sometimes certain fields can only be displayed within a specific viewport in a broswer. Let me know if that helps.

Hey, it was after I published this tutorial that Bubble introduced the default privacy settings. If you're building a public-facing application like Instagram, I'd delete the standard privacy settings. Hope this helps!

@@kylejordan7715 One of the easiest solutions that comes to mind is adding the current user to their own list of followers when they create an account. Then, the home page repeating group will also include their posts. Hope this helps 👍

Hi I have an issue. It works okay the first time, the message is displayed when I put in a used handle name, however If I do it again and retype another name that is taken, the message disappears? it seems to only work once.

Hey Tara, with platforms like Instagram, it's best to ensure that only one user can have a unique handle at a time. The best way to ensure duplicate handles aren't created is by adding a condition onto the handle input field. Within this condition, you should search through your database for users where their handle equals the same value of the on-page input. If the returned value is >0, this means that a handle already exists, so you'll need to select the option to disable the input field. Question: If the comment also uses post content, couldn't we create threads kinda like twitter? If not how would we create threads as comments?

If you're looking to build a thread of comments/nested comments, you'll need to add a data field within the comment data type that includes a 'list of comments'. Then every time someone creates a new threaded comment, add this to the list of comments attached to the original comment. To display this, you'll need to add a repeating group within your original comment repeating group, then set the data source to be the nested comments of the original comment it sits within. It can sound a little confusing, but it's not too difficult to create. I'll try and create a tutorial for this soon!

Once i get to 11:46 adding workflow "Sign the user up" when i click email or password there is only "Input name" no email or password field like yours even though i have replicated every step can you help?

@@theguitarstrapcotonycroce2731 Glad it could help. And for this new issue, Bubble made a change yesterday to the way this field is presented. The 'current user is not logged in' option has been replaced with 'current user in not signed up', so choose this new option and it'll all function the same.

I am working on a prod it has two users on it but the repeating group is displaying the posts twice + the RG is not even displaying the other users posts almost like they have nothing to do with each other ( the posts and the users). Please Help
