hey man, great video. Because I'm planning to live in a similar building for a while I would have a question to you. Currently I'm thinking of a pallet/cob structure similar to yours or a cob wall similar to TA Outdoors medieval roundhouse, in case you know that. Could you already test the cabin or a similar building in cold weather? And if yes, how well does it isolate heat? Will the earth pallet-filling just wash away when it's raining heavily? Thanks in advance!

Hello my friend! This cabin insulates enough heat. If you want it to be stronger, completely cover the inside and outside with boards. Mix straw and mud into the pallets. It depends on what kind of climate it is in. but the soil inside the pallets does not flow in the rain.

If u have time now to make something nice why not take the time. U think u can live there? First of all is in the bottom of a hill. When it rain all water is gonna pour into the pallet house. U didnt make a proper footing for it. And u put dirt into the pallets. Thats gonna be full of bugs and centepedes. Ur not re inventing the wheele here. U can make something nice with basic material. Like a shed. This is worst than a pig stak sty.

Lots of pallets are treated with chemicals to kill insects etc because that’s required for international shipment and such. You can find markings on each pallet

I know this is 2 months ago but why would you put it at the bottom of a hill exactly that high of a Hill you do realize that Waters come running down off of that hill in the raining season and it's going to flood your cabin that you're just now building in this segment it was a wrong place to build I don't know what you were thinking!

Rain will erode the soil in about 6 weeks and the pallets will rot out in 6-12 months. But water coming down the hill will have destroyed it before it has a chance to rot.
