Omg the Walkman.. I remember being a teenager in school walking around with it and having a few CD's in my school backpack. It only feels like yesterday. I can't believe the Walkman is even in some museums now, I'm like "okay calm down, I'm not that old yet for you to display these in a museum" 😂

I don't think that is Walkman, Walkman was for cassettes, this is cd player 😅

Great job on this, Tina. I also love curves and use a lot of them in the garden - straight rows are just so boring and unnatural to me (no offense to those who crave that kind of look, just not for me.) The gift was very thoughtful.

It looks great. The only thing I would suggest is what they did when styling the original. They put some larger items on the larger part of the shelves created by the curves. Especially when viewed at an angle, this accentuates the unique curves. I know you said you would probably restyle. Beautiful project!

This came out amazing!! I love your work. I’m not sure if this is possible but the off cuts from the shelves could also be used as wavy wall shelves with l brackets (if the wood is thick enough to support brackets!) just an idea ❤❤
@JennaMcCallister Жыл бұрын
So you can do a half lap on a sliding miter saw if yours has a trenching feature. You also usually need a sacrificial fence (extra piece of wood behind the one you’re cutting). Otherwise, you get that chunk in the middle you have to chisel out. With table saws (which I do own), you usually have to make a crosscut sled, and I honestly don’t have the time or patience for that haha. Jigsaw is the way to go if you don’t have trenching on your miter saw.
