Building and Painting Arvus Lighters - Legions Imperialis

Today we are going to build and paint a full box of the new plastic Arvus Lighters for Warhammer Legions Imperialis. While painting these we are also going to give some new Warpaint Fanatic paints a spin.

If you make yourself a little jig, out of a spare clear flying stand rod, glued to an old round base, you can paint flyers without needing to touch them, I’ve got 8 made and they make flyers much more fun to paint especially with an airbrush. Would have made a clear gloss varnish coat very easy pre wash stage for example :)

Man, I really need to invest in patience as well as an airbrush...

I can’t speak to patience, but I’ve definitely found my airbrush to be super useful for getting though my grey pile of shame.
