This week we get to finish building Moby's Deck! This is one HUGE project and took two weeks to build! It's also HOT outside while we build this thing, so that's a huge bonus. We'll be finishing up the landing, topping the deck with some dirt, setting our ramp in place, and trying this fun feature out!

The size is perfect, having a bike park sized feature compared to a downsized one allows for my variety on riding it.

I have never mountain biked before, but I honestly prefer Seth's over at Berm Peak. His, to me, appears much more fun and snappy, making it look cooler when it is ridden. This one, again in my opinion, doesn't have much whale tail about it. Like I said, I am not a mountain biker so I don't even really know what makes a whale tail a whale tail, but this just seems a little underwhelming for its size. I would expect a snap down and launch up and off from such a feature.

Well Seth’s works for his course, which is narrow and fast. But hitting it feels like it’s over in a split second. This one is a whale tail but for a different course and opens up different applications. The feature and landing are big, wide and forgiving for pulling off bigger stuff. The dirt surface is a nice touch for tire traction. Moving the take off back or eventually having a steep lippy alternate one you can get huge air time and practice moves like no handers, no footers, tables, bar spins, etc. backflips too if you’re Red Bull Rampage level. Looking forward to seeing more of this whale tail in future videos.

Take off is to talland to close. The landing could be made of dirt and it is to close to the wale, you are over shooting it. Smaller poppy take off and earthen landing then it will be nice.

I think you built that landing way too close. I know you don't want to build scary stuff, but on day one you're already pretty much jumping to flat. By next year you'll have to tear that landing out and move it further, especially as you pull the lip back or add a second lip.

You should look into getting a water storage tank that you can fill with captured rain water, this can be used on the jumps and garden/grass. That way, you can keep your well water for drinking and other purposes.

@@anonymousaccordionist3326 That might be the craziest thing I have ever heard. It must be where the Pepsi and Coke companies control the water, so they can collect natural water that fallls from the sky, then sell it to you at $3 for 300ml. Just put barrels at the bottom of your gutter downspouts, transfer that water into a larger holding tank, to be re-used for gardens/grass, car washing, etc... If somebody tells you cant do that, then claim GOD told you to do it, that always scares the ignorant, and nobody else can claim that they own water that fell from GODS sky to be collected from your gutters. FUCK ME. I can't believe I had to explain this, everywhere I know of, encourages this practice, to reduce water consumption/waste. FUCK'N American exceptionalism, is exceptionally FUCK'N stupid.

Thanks for not doing the Flashdance scene for Mrs Shredist. As a builder of 40+ years watching your shenanigans, I'm both high-fiving you and also - HAAAA!! Some of your challenges give me giggles. Part of me is like, OK it's not that long of a drive - just go help a brother out. But more of me is all - no.... wait....this could be amusing.... HA!! But that's a dope, well-built feature man. This trail is developing a Rube Goldbergian personality. We're all jealous. Now do a corkscrew loop.
