Hey! Thanks for this! Now I understand the building process and why sometimes it goes to cascade mode again. This will add the dev way of thinking to my design approach.

Great video 👏. Can you do a series of videos on each process in detail? From start to launching the app.

So I do have videos where i talk about all those (Planning - > building -> Submitting to both app stores) as well as sharing my own journey. Could you provide an example of what you are thinking? :)

@@GlodinM Yes, I’ve watched all your previous videos, and they were really helpful! However, I have a very specific question. I tried creating an app using Cursor and gave it a prompt to generate a home screen UI. I launched Expo Go on my mobile, and while I could see the instructions page, I couldn’t preview the UI created by Cursor. How can I resolve this issue? Additionally, could you outline the components or dependencies that need to be installed for this setup? For example, I installed components for React Native while watching your video, but it didn’t work. I encountered errors that I couldn’t resolve. Could you please guide me on how to proceed? Sometimes, running the expo itself leads to errors.

i was literally pulling hair figuring out how to organize my app, this video is super helpful! Thank you! I am a little lost at 4:50 i did not fully catch up with what you exactly meant, what did you mean by someone reverse engineer the app and get my key and run it up? if you could clarify that part that would be awesome. keep up the good work buddy!

If you don't secure your api keys properly in your app and if someone extracts the apk of your app, your api keys will be exposed... This can be called reverse engineering and it's a threat to your api keys....

@Statsjk so inoder to secure them, I need a cloud server liek AWS for better security compared to firebase? Is that the meaning of that section?
@GlodinM15 күн бұрын
@statsjk thank you so much for your help!

@sidney3863 Hey Sidney! I’m glad you found the video helpful! Regarding reverse engineering: if your API keys are hardcoded into your app, someone could decompile your app (reverse engineer it), extract the keys, and misuse them. This is especially a concern with public APIs that aren’t secured server-side. Like @statsjk explained To secure your API keys, you’d typically avoid hardcoding them into your app and instead use server-side authentication (like Firebase functions or an AWS backend etc). Firebase can work perfectly for most use cases since it’s designed with security in mind, but AWS or other cloud services may offer more customization depending on your needs. Hope this helps

@@GlodinM oh right that's great to get clarified, I had some concerns over switching from Firebase to Aws, that's why I wanted to confirm about this section. Appreciate the work your doing and the community your building, keep up the good work man, wish you the best. And @statsjk for helping out too 😁
