Building Basement Walls Using ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) | Preparing for our concrete wall pour

With concrete footings in place, we begin stacking the ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) that will form our concrete foundation walls. Our basement walls will be 9 feet tall and 8 inches thick with rebar every 1 foot horizontally and vertically. Come let us show you how this method of building concrete walls works.

I’ve built my house AutoZone Styrofoam blocks two very efficient very easy to do and I loved it. Couldn’t hear a UPS truck pull up in front of the house itself quieter does.

Yes, that is another good feature of building with ICFs. Also, the insulating factor is a benefit with 6.5in of foam. Thanks for watching!
