few years ago, i lived in paris. it was my first time after graduation, living alone. at first, i thought it would be so cool to live alone because it means i'm an adult and that i could, now, discover life without my abusive parents behind my back. unfortunely i've ended up screwing my first university because of depression & living alone made it worse. so, paris is a beautiful city but those memories have stained it with pain and extreme fear. however, your vlog has warmed my little heart and i wish i had seen this at that time. it would have helped me to do the bare minimum or at least, make me feel less lonely. thank you, leah.

The way we are taught to cook cous cous where I'm from makes it super easy! You put your desired amount of dry cous cous in a cooking bowl and then u wanna boil some water (in a kettle if u have one, in a pot if u don't) and AS SOON as the water is boiled u pour enough in a measuring jug (you want 160ml of boiling water for every 100g dry cous cous) stir in a stock cube real quick before pouring it into the bowl with the dry cous cous, stirring it in, and quickly covering the bowl with a big plate. Then u just leave it and within like 10 min it is ready to eat! Cous cous in salads is the best though 😩

@niamhadairia29562 жыл бұрын
@@none9122 No actually I'm from Scotland! But I can see why you'd think I'm Moroccan cause cous cous is super common in Moroccan cuisine if I'm right?? And I'm guessing that's how you cook it there :P I'd love to visit Morocco one day :D
@none91222 жыл бұрын
@@niamhadairia2956 Yes Couscous is super common in here, it's in our tradition to eat it like every friday cause it's one of Morocco's staple foods. By the way i also would love to visit where u're from one day ! Scotland is like a land of legends,i can already tell that it has its unique beauty only by watching youtube videos of its breathtaking highlands, blue lakes, monuments that are proud reminders of long ago life... Really would love to be there one day ^-^

Seeing how you realistically overcome and get over your problems and like bad habits is really inspiring because we all know that sometimes things don't go as planned and seeing that even though you didn't accomplish what you wanted some days you pushed through, and you ended up achieving what you wanted and that's really amazing you are really inspiring, and you make me believe maybe it's not that impossible to stop really bad habits I have,, thanks a lot I love your videos ʕっ•ᴥ•ʔっ

I choose an interesting one that's not too long (15-20min) and listen to it with all the lights off and eyes closed... That way I still get some cool content and a bit of time for myself but fortunately end uop drowsing off after 10min and just naturally go to sleep without postponing !

I’ve decided to get back into learning French on Duolingo but decided to not let the “streak” or “leagues” determine how much or how little I learn in a day or even a week so that I pace myself. I’ve been finding I’m like you where I enjoy things a lot more when I leave myself the option of doing it for fun :) I’d also like to say that I got into journaling because of you and have a list of your prompts saved to help me when I’m not rly sure what to write, I love you Leah and you’re such a welcoming human being
