Building Big Ben & The Palace of Westminster in Minecraft

Boring fact: the reason that one section (Westminster Hall) is made of a different material/ and is crooked compared to the rest, is because it’s the last remaining section of the original palace destroyed in a fire in 1834. During the following three decades of reconstruction, they decided to build a completely new palace instead of rebuilding the old one. The design wanted the palace to overlook the Thames, which didn’t quite line up with Westminster Hall, due to it being built centuries earlier before the river embankment was built. So that’s why it sticks out a bit.

For anyone wondering, to build a proportionately accurate Big Ben, it would have to be 96-97 blocks tall and 12 square. Just remember, this doesn’t give the most room to add details, so build whatever size you want.

I don't care if the tutorial is in 50 or 100 parts, I really want a tutorial for this very badly. (If 1:1 isn't possible, then maybe for half size). I know this sounds very over demanding, but man I am just obsessed with these huuuge builds and make them regardless of how long they take. I hope you post the tutorial for this in near future. I know that you possibly won't lol, but anyways, hope for the best. If entire palace isn't possible, maybe just the clock tower and the building adjacent to it 😢

I just need dimensions, and manage the rest, by seeing the speed build itself. But thank you, and again, this is an awesome build.

Theme idea, you should make the amazing structures from Lord of the rings: Orthanc (it has both sorrounding forest, as well as a later decimated land with only stumps of trees, deep drop offs into caves, and wooden structures of war all sorrounding the center dark black jewel of a tower), Minas Tirith, Loathlorien, the passage of Helms Deep, Cirith ungol, Rivendell (I think you'd thoroughly enjoy that one), Edoras. I think you would reallly enjoy the architecture. If you want, you could make Osgiliath but it is an entire city.
