I think You can use a humidifier for the smoke effect. There are compact versions of it that you can buy.

Awesome build! If you want the smoke out the chimney in a safer way there are solutions which model train builders use, a small electrical thingy which you drip some special solution on which smokes for quite a while, quite safely, and you can easily just turn it off with a switch. Ask at a model train store and they'll know what you talk about :)

Loved seeing this build. The moving action of the smoke added so much to the personality of the build. Only other thing I can think of is a battery powered candle light to emulate fire through the doorway.

This turned out great! I love bushcrafting and crafting dioramas. I was thinking about crafting a model of Joe Robinet's fort he's been building for the past couple of years and sending it to him. Just finishing up a mill with a water wheel for my mother's birthday present. I used colored glass tiles from Michael's for the windows and I'm adding some LEDs so it will light up. Mom's gonna love it.

i just ran across this looking back to some of your earlier posts. Project came out awesome and looks like a full size survival shelter. Love the the added incense smoke. Perhaps adding a metal or ceramic incense holder down in the chimney for a permanent use.👍👍👍
