I’ve been working for a long time, years, on being consistent in many areas of my life. I’m in a place now where I can see progress even as I look to improve, which feels really nice. Building consistency isn’t easy but the principles are simple, and it’s something we can all do!

"Consistency is the vehicle and improvement is in the backseat." Love that, that's gold right there!

Consistency is the hard part, no need to make it harder by adding intensity. Thank you

Insightful thoughts, David. Sometimes I forget that intensity or a desire to achieve my goal may lead to physical or mental fatigue, which will ruin the goal of a consistent habit. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you David, it makes me happy to see your passion in the way you spoke about this topic, and I really appreciate how helpful your advice is to me at the moment. I think the topics you feel really passionate about lead to your best videos in my opinion. You've given me perspectives that I hadn't thought about and my new mindset will definitely help me be more consistent. :)

Thank you for talking about consistency like this. I think a lot of people (including my self talk hehe) equate inconsistency with laziness or lack of commitment to oneself, and you just acknowledging that consistency is hard and it’s a skill that ~takes a long time~ to build was an important reframe for me. Thank you as always!!

Idk where you submit Q&A questions, but I have one: Does knowing that you impact people’s lives positively with these videos make you feel any pressure to excel/succeed because other people are counting on you? And not financially or anything, but like butterfly effect, you living your truth genuinely affects other people’s lives and creates a better world as a whole. Have you ever had that pressure of responsibility feeling before and how did you deal with it if so. Hope I didn’t just cause it if not lolll

I needed this, I sometimes want to do everything at once, but I only keep that level of operation up for maybe two weeks before it falls apart for months. Taking it slow might be the way for me, because all I can do is make sure I try.

Hon, your videos… thank you. I’m having a tough time right now. Listening to this hit at just the right time. Just turn down the huge expectations and do a little each day. Yes. I love all of your videos (esp the 75 Hard one and how you did it. I’m doing mine now) but this one was basically necessary for me rn. Ty!
