Building Custom Cabinets for a Home Office - Part 1

My dad wanted me to fully build out his office with cabinets, shelves, drawers, doors, and a desk. I've never built cabinets before but I thought it would be fun to learn.
My cabinet terminology isn't very good, so I may not refer to parts very well and my build process might not be like a pro. If any of you professional cabinet makers out there have any tips to speed up the process or different techniques I should be using, please sound off in the comments below. I will listen to your suggestions!
