Brother, I great job. Lots of detail. Next time, I recommend use the black powder guide. Apply it on top of the primer and Filler before sanding. It helps you find details and speed up when you sand the parts.

As someone who does this for a living, but with much older cars, its awesome watching it happen on something so new, and seeing it done properly is great! Love the attention to detail! Wonderful job brother! How many coats of clear are you spraying before the cut and buff?

Thank you sir! I actually have been working in restoration for the last 2.5 years and finally got the chance to do one of my own! As far as the clear, I shot it the initial time with 2 coats with flake then 2 coats on top with none, then scratch padded the whole thing and dumped 3 more on top, about a week or 2 later I blocked the whole car with 4/600 and put 3 more coats as a flow coat, then wetsand and polished. I left those steps out of this video as they all look the same and would’ve just been me spraying the car for a few minutes lol it was a ton of work to bury the flakes.

@@_nickscraig absolutely perfect! I was hoping to see those, but I definitely understand the repetitiveness of clearing, nothing really changes during those coats, other than orange peel flowing out. I've been painting now for 20+ years, started when I was 14, and never stopped. Mainly do old hotrods though... I might be the only one thats wanted to watch the clear coat! 😂 Either way, very talented after that short of time! Keep killin it, glad to see the profession being taught properly.

Yessir they only made about 1100 of them and were only sold in Japan, autech was responsible for these cars much like many other rare Nissan models!

@@_nickscraig learn something new everyday. I'm 40 - and today i drive a Peugeot 3008 mk 1.6 turbo diesel 110hp. It gets 69mpg. Ive traded rpm fir mpg!! Sad...but true. This is what happens when you become boomer .. but don't let what i drive make you think I'm clueless. 20 years ago to the day i owned a 200sx (not 240sx, USA for once got shafted with that Nissan stanza engine) tuned by norris designs. I absolutely loved the s13, 14 and the 15! I will link a video with not all, but most of the decent cars I've owned in the next comment. Enjoy.

The yellow paste is body filler, it’s used to fill in lower areas after metal work has been completed in damaged and repaired areas, the other stuff I believe you’re referring to is fibreglass mat and resin to build custom shapes and then finish with body filler again to smooth it out Thanks!

I believe you’re referring to the body filler, it is spread on in low/wavy areas then blocked down flat to leave only what is needed to make a panel straight again

It’s mainly a style but also the reasoning behind it is fitting wider wheels than the cars body will allow to be tucked under the fenders, so you camber them in at the tops to tuck a wider wheel
