I’m starting to really enjoy this channel, the old school approach to the cars especially and the video vibe. I may be in my early 20’s, but I’ve been in and out of the car community with my family since I was younger. And seeing cars like the EK brings back memories.

I think the fact that Mickey wants to put a K20 in it is enough reason to go with that engine. They're a brilliant motor, that is pretty much bullet proof (from what I've seen). Making it RWD will be interesting - kinda Lotus Talbot Sunbeam like in a sense

rust on a skiv? no way thats factory weight reduction and them dents are from going so fast the air dents the panels.. this one is dent free and running on only 2 cylinders that means the car was too fast the owner had to add weight by patching the rust and its dent free because the owner was clearly sandbagging all along only running on 2 out 4 cylinders.. prob was only racing mustangs so he didnt need to be fast.. its pretty much why you see hondas running worse then new.. i mean we gotta keep it fair for the v8 owners, its no fun when your always winning..

For the codes, there’s a green two wire plug behind the passenger kick panel, jump it with a wire or paper clip and the engine light will flash and give you the codes. Long flash counts as 10 and short flashes count as one, for example, one long flash and five short flashes would be code 15 and so forth

You guys should just spray the interior floor pan with spray-on bedliner, toss in aluminum dash and door cards. It's a good, cheap way to make it look nice without adding much weight, and still get rid of /a lot/ of noise. And try to find a K20A (11.7:1) from the Type R and put a turbo on it!

If you would have used a stethoscope or a flat head to listen if the fuel injectors are ticking when the car is running they are good and if not then you know the problem then check for impedance on the injectors. No need to swap them, that’s too much work. Check for ticking by listening when the car is on. The throttle body is getting too much air, turn down screw on the throttle body less air, hence the plugs are rich/black, check for fuel pressure aswell and check fuel pump. There’s also a vacuum that is plugged on the throttle body
