Hi Guys, how many bags of cement (counting) are you using for the plastering?
@rosemondboateng7113 күн бұрын
Well done guys, you didn’t share the cost of both internal and the external plastering.? Also I don’t see any AC piping done, is it because you will use central AC or standing one? For the MEP phase isn’t it better to do all the mechanical, electrical and plumbing before plastering? Sorry for all the questions as I learned a lot from you guys so wondering why this is different. Thanks
@princenikki2 күн бұрын
Sorry, we haven’t had a chance to update the costs for some time. We’re leaving the AC pipes until we’re ready for the final installation due to the increased theft of copper pipes. Only the final installations will be done at that stage. Yes, we will be installing a VRF AC system (centralized). We’re not big fans of having multiple outdoor units scattered around. The plumbing has been completed, and all our pipes are run above the ceiling. It’s better to complete all the MEP first fixes before plastering, especially if someone will be staying at the property

Hii prince & Nikki, pls i have a question. I base outside the country and i have been watching some of your video's and i love them very impressive. so the question is how do i save money in building cus i have got my drawings etc down, is it profitable to pay the engineer for supervisor and i pay the workers in the terms of plumbing, electrical works i would tell them how i want it to be done, like the electrical cus i would like to have the European standard not the uk standard, where the control switch will be etc.. and many others. Pls what are ur advice..? Thank you:)
@princenikki5 ай бұрын
Building from abroad on a DIY basis can save money, but it’s not for everyone. This is because, while engaging individual tradesmen and a supervisor can yield some savings, the quality cannot be guaranteed and there is no single point of responsibility like a contractor. The building process is complex and requires a lot of coordination between trades and works to achieve the best quality outcomes.
