these look as good as anything you've done Mel. Glad to see a video like this again. I've been working on an Endor board for my Star Wars Legion rebellion and the Burma build has been very helpful.

Looking great! I look forward to the rest of the series. “Always dry fit” is a great reminder! Saves so much fixing later 😆

Looking great, Mel! Glad to see you working on the BBB. Very nice results with simple stuff readily available and not expensive for the most part. The balls joke was sterling! Cheers.

Even though this lot dropped in on my inbox already as a Patreon I only watched this today which I didn’t mind at all. Just happy to support you and enjoy your work. This is a great set of videos and I love how they look when finished and think they look awesome buddy. 👍🏻

Neat idea with the polystyrene balls and artex - a lot less messy than carving chunks of polystyrene into shape, or using things like milliput which adds so much weight to the base.

Nice and simple design. Wish I had the time to start build some terrain right now after getting some inspiration from this.

This look amazing, great job! How did you call the 50/50 mix you use for the dirt part? As English is not my mother tongue, I didnt get the name + the ingredients that compose the mixture

Just a little thought - maybe do a couple with the end angles going forward rather than back as connector pieces for when you use them as a linear defensive position.

You should make some dummy defenses. Some similarly shaped bits of scatter that are only revealed to be fortified or not once the Chindits get close. Alternatively just don't make any defenses and when a player complains that his briefing is to attack the Japanese positions and he doesn't see any just respond "Yep. Crack On."

Quick question; why did you use the bubbles instead of Sculptamold? As always thank you for the content.
@IceTeaEdwin2 жыл бұрын
He uses the bubbles and sometimes shredded paper to bulk up, shape, and texture the mixture. Basically makes the mixture more like clay. He talks about it in the video called Quick & Easy Terrain Landscaping .

Wouldn't two little blobs of plasticine or poster putty have made the whole assembly process a bit easier? ;)
@michaelblair24472 жыл бұрын
I would have done this the other way round, cut the foam first and make the 'logs' to fit the cut out as which would be much trickier!
