Man, i am really grateful for your videos, i am an aspiring musician/sound artist myself, i am in the middle of my professional studies and what you are sharing here is so valuable , like , for real, this content is the sole purpose i chose my university and its study program. I admire your consistency, i found your channel because i was looking up for pure data tutorials, keep it up with the cool stuff man, i really hope you blow up soon for the music and technology comunity !! Some of us dont really take the time to encourage others, but mark my words , this is gold and we will support you. Cheers man *Sorry for bad english

You seem to know what I need before I even know it myself. This is gonna be super usefull for prototyping. Thanks - great video like always!

Thank you as always!! Foam board is a recent discovery for myself too actually. I really like using it for prototyping and wish that I used it sooner!!

Hi! Very interesting idea. Do you have schematic and Arduino code for it?
@SoundSimulator Жыл бұрын
Please refer to my Arduino to Max video :) Instead of potentiometer, swap it with the distance sensor.

@@SoundSimulatorYes! I had a look at it. Cool! But I thought the sound was coming from Arduino and I didn't realize it is instead coming from the computer. Is there a way to make a standalone system, without the need of the computer to play?

Beautiful!!!! Do u know if the sensor can befound in some old printer or something like that?
@SoundSimulator3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching, Federico! I don't know if it can be found inside of a printer, sorry. Distance sensor is really cheap so it might be better to just order online and save some time!

This was more of a tutorial on how to use foam board. You can search on google to learn about connecting distance sensor to Arduino.

@@SoundSimulator kzbin.info/www/bejne/m4e6YXl6bsySic0 im trying with this with knob its working fine for me, but i need details video for connecting distance sensor, resistor and arduino to foamboard?? im so confusing to connecting the cable, can you give me some tutorial or link?
@SoundSimulator2 жыл бұрын
@@adelderderder I don't know which distance sensor you're using (I bought the one in the video 10 years ago at RadioShack so I doubt you have the same exact one). Please Google the name of the sensor you have and also type the word "Arduino" and you should get bunch of tutorials. You got this 💪

use hot glue sticks or something.. CA glue doesn't work with foam usually. great video bro
@SoundSimulator3 жыл бұрын
I saw people online swear off hot glue and I didn't have one around anyway. Krazy glue worked fine personally. I messed up in the video cuz I had to glue from an awkward position in order stay out of the camera's view. Didn't have any issue during my test run. That said, if people have more experience and an immediate access to hot glue, then I recommend it.
