costs about double in your neighbour country denmark.. dont complain. you also have an insane amount of cars to select from in germany to get ur perfect spec. i paid 4k euro for my clapped e46 320i which was actually a decent deal compared to what the market is now.

Wow thought they would be alot cheaper in germany. I live in New Zealand and this car would have gone for around 3k NZD (1700USD) considering the damage. 5k NZD(2850USD) will get you one in good condition.

I am not sure where you are from but, for 6 k i am pretty sure you can buy a much newer car. i've bought an e91 330d touring with haman kardon sound system, tuned, big wheels, leather seats m-package from 2009 for 8k and that was 6 years ago, bought a 335d f31 from 2015 about two years ago for 18 k ( and got 6 k back for the 330....). That said, usually you need some replacements, like breaks, tires and new shock absorbers. If you buy them at the sweetspot ( ~6-9 years old) you can drive dirt cheap, as you can drive them for like 2 years and still get a good chuck of your money back when selling it or trading in it. But make sure you have some extras on the car like leather seats or the m-package when you are buying them. The car is great, however "investing" in a car is a bad idea, unless you buy something like a ferrari and never drive it. investing in a car will lose you money. cars lose in value as they age and / or put on mileage.

I always prefer wider wheels on the e90. The body is wider than the wheel-base. Put on some small spacers and it'll make a huge difference. Other than that, great build

You can replace the transmission pan yourself but there are a few specific tools you need, including a transmission fluid temperature gauge. If you take it to a shop it would be around $600+
