I love working about digging and she used this spade start to dig with wheelie boots. I love this girl and being my life. Toby *(That's Me about Toby's Same Name has made by Toby Nosike)* and Kelly has building this raised bed when she finishes digging and it's so fabulous digging when this mud out from this raised bed. 2:14 I love this your crouching before look to correct when she's crouching like my beautiful school Carew Academy loves crouching about talking and do the laces about working and smiling a face with crouching so correctly. Take off the anxious feeling and have fun. Don’t worry about being perfect. I get a LOT wrong but I’m ok with that. love the buildings. I'd suggest a lot more posts on those planks to hold the weight of the compost and whatever else you put in, especially for when they get wet, they will expand.

Raised bed made from planks definitely goes much better with the stone structures. The first approach with logs would have worked with your former place in the UK. I'm also in support of a nice lady gardening in a kilt :)

Kelly, I love raised beds for all of my vegetables. I made mine from redwood I cut on my sawmill. I used some old angle iron from bed frames in the corners to hold them together. I make my compost from the green waste from the house and yard mixed with the chicken manure from my chickens. I pile it all together and water it then every couple of weeks let the chickens tear it apart. You are on your way, it looks good…John

@@ravenwoolfe Chickens are the best! Before I stopped using my rototiller when I started it up the chickens would come flying to the garden to feast on the worms. Another hint you might want to put down cardboard or newspaper of some sort on the soil below your compost and soil you fill the box with. It stops the weeds from below from growing up to the surface. It makes a huge difference and rots away in short order…John

If you wanted a rustic feel, you could use pressure treated railroad ties, they're heavy, so they'll stay in place without having to spike them together. They'll last for around 30 yrs.
