Just a tip for any beginners out there. If your tube begins to either: 1) Get bubbles = overheating the tube 2) Kink on the inner side of the bend = under heating the tube. Don't rush this part. Keep the heat gun on low so you have more control and take your time. keep rotating it and moving it side to side to ensure even heating so you don't over stress one side or the other. You'll know when the tubing is at optimal temperature when it is no longer rigid and would bend on its own if you weren't holding it. You don't need much force at all to make the bend, you should be guiding the tube to the angle it needs, not forcing it to bend. If you're not confident and need to make multiple bends on the same line, you can also use angled couplings to eliminate the need to bend, this method does not impact performance.

In a world where everybody knows everything, especially in the tech media, it is refreshing to watch your video of your first hardline loop. I think it will give a lot of people confidence to also try it for the first time. Perhaps a follow up video / critique would also be good, identifying any issues that you feel could be resolved. Also, given the size of the case, I would have been tempted to use 420 radiators and also a flat reservoir with subtle RGB lighting. You could also look in to some theme modding for the area around the PSU shroud. I love the new 7000 case and the opportunities that exist for modding. I was a big fan of the Obsidian Cases. Well done for a very honest video.

Done about 4 hard-line builds now. It's a lot of hassle and work, but do satisfying to say "I did that" when vendors would charge thousands for the same thing. I tend to just leave only the pump going overnight with a load of paper towel out. that way I know in the morning if there's no colour on the towels it hasn't leaked

My biggest learning was that PETG gets soft at a much lower point than Acrylic, and the tubes would actually warp under the hot water and pop loose from fittings spraying water through out the machine. Was multiple brands. I only use acrylic now. And I prefer fittings with teeth that can't pop loose. Also leave the res open while the system heats up to release pressure and while hot put the cap back on. Then you'll never have a high pressure situation.

This is pretty sweet. I think the only other thing you could do to to make it more leak resistant is use a marine RTV (Silicone) around all the fittings. Usually it’s clear. Marine RTV is water proof. The only issue would be getting if off if you wanted to change any parts or have to repair something.

I mean the main reason better fans aren't in the expensive cases are simply cause if someone is spending that much on a case one would think they are going to get really nice fans and remove the stock ones anyways or maybe a set of matching ones.
