This is my first ever P.C. ☺️ obviously self build and first time. 🤣
During the build i had so much dilemma and patience is the key my friends, do not rush .. and plan ahead :)
I can now play my dream games 🥺

if you are in the US, microcenter sometimes has stock on items that are unavailable elsewhere. I just got the Lian Li O11 mini case and the Lian Li power supply from them.

You should flip the radiator fans around so it’s pulling air into the case. Also put the nzxt fans behind the radiator so you can keep the fan speed lower and have better cooling

@@kirstyong I have a similar build to you. The case has dust filters on the back for a reason. It’s meant to be an intake not exhaust.

that's a gorgeous build! i wish i could build that lol. on a side note - you should flip some of the fans in the case, you only have 3 intakes and 6 exhausts, there won't be enough cool air for a good airflow and can affect temps in the future. i'd put the radiator fans on intake so it can cool the cpu directly :) congrats on your build, love it

@@Corinnebear07 yes, just flip the fan to the opposite side. By intake they mean to pull air in, as opposed to exhaust, which means to push air out.

Always remember never to put your motherboard or any other components on plastic wrapping it came in, cause outside layer of wrapping absorbs all the static you have on your hands so that when you touch you component it won't get shorted. But putting any component on the wrapping will easily allow all the static to travel to the component, and it will fail for sure. You were lucky in this case that you didn't have any static on your body. otherwise, you would have killed your motherboard in starting

the bag is antistatic so when people touch it or the motherboard touches anything, static will not be released in it

@@ojn89hn no, it keeps the static on the outside of the wrapping, so while the motherboard is inside the wrapping it is safe, but if you take it out and put it on top of it and you are unlucky, you will for sure get it shorted (since static can build up on the OUTSIDE of the wrapping)

Nice! I have a similar build. I see you are using the SL120 fans which are very nice looking. If your fan's are too loud you can connect the fan header straight into the motherboard and switch your settings from PWM to DC inside the bios. I was able to get my fans to spin at 450 rpm at 2.5 Volts. I feel like 600 to 750 rpm is the sweet spot. BTW the Lian li controller will not let you drop below 800 rpm so you must connect straight to motherboard. It will be okay because spec for these fans are .25 A per fan and fan headers can supply up to 1 amp per header.

@@Vidsof89 the chance of actually breaking anything with static is very low, I mean in the video she built her motherboard on a bag that conducts static, if you are worried just build it without socks on a wood or hard floor and touch some metal like your psu to ground yourself

Concerning those nvme drives you put in, you typically want to remove the sticker off the front, usually the warranty sticker is on the back. Reason being is that the thermalpads on the heatsinks need to make contact with controller chip on the front. While youre using pcie 3 drives here, which don't usually run hot, the x570 platform supports 2x pcie 4 drives, which do run hot. So in the future, you might want to keep this in mind. You can also get a heatsink for the drive just above your gpu, imagine you would want one in white.

how on earth did you manage to find/get a new rtx 3080 ROG strix white at this time when they are completely discontinued and impossible to find anywhere second hand for a reasonable price, let alone brand new. Me very jelly xD good job on managing it though. Awesome build!

Heeeyy all of the parts cost me $3100 and honestly there wasnt any difficult part to put on but an advice is carefully and you have to be systematic while putting on the wires cuz you dont want that tangled and struggling in the tight squeeze space :). Thats all good luck on the future build!! ❤️😍
