Congrats on this build! Two things to fix: in the B650 motherboard box there is a small bag with a small screw, turn off the computer and attach that screw to the NVME SSD, it is very important. Then move the RAM sticks to slots A2 and B2 (2nd and 4th counting from the micro slot) to improve performance. Cheers!

do you have a pcpartpicker build you reccomend for newbies that’s lower on the price spectrum? I have a budget of like 1k and I am brand new and don’t know what parts to get :(

@@Jinaret ik this is 10 days old, but i would look into "scattervolts" 1k build if youre not too worried about the aesthetic. if you do care about the aesthetic then id recommend techsource's 1k build. keep in mind tax might push it over the 1k mark, and scattervolt is more in depth but techsource does have an in depth generalized pc building tutorial, good luck

Great Job! Very well put together, simplistic build. Advice I would give is to install an AM5 contact frame for your CPU. It helps with the hot spot offset on these CPUs and prevents the socket from flexing. Also, the position of the RAM sticks for improved performance.

Definitely a super solid build minus the graphics card. That being said nothing wrong with using that one until you can get a different one. That being said white ones are a bit more expensive but if you want a graphics card that matches your CPU AsRock make the 7900xt in white that’s 699 on newegg. Definitely a beautiful card (with rgb and is white) for an amazing build that should last you a long long time.

Awesome case. I am also going for an all white build and need a white GPU but instead of paying a price premium for one I am just going to paint it myself.
@stephenhood29483 ай бұрын
I just built an all white PC. The white probably cost me at least $300 more due to limited choices. I had to go with an RTX 4070 instead of a super or TI due to limited white GPUs. I could have gone with a black PSU, but the white PSU cost me an extra $20. It looks and performs great, but def would have been cheaper if I wasn't worried about the aesthetics of it. White motherboards are very limited and some are super expensive, I remember seeing a white NZXT mobo that was $500. I went with an MSI Z790 that has silver heatsinks. Really made me wonder if it was worth it, but looking at it now Id have to say it was. But for the what I have in it I could have had an i7 instead of an i5 12600k and an RTX 4070 super TI. Painting the GPU sounds like a great idea, its not like its going to get beat around. This Galax EX Gamer OC looks really nice with the white build though. I think its the case that really sets it off, the Montech King 95 Pro is such a nice looking case, and you can get them in white, black, red and blue.

you are leaving us hanging there lol what DDR5 memory speed and what CL ;) My suggestion will be in the future for PSU to check the PSU cultist list, that's kind of like the golden rule and ranking, for future GPU go with AMD Radeon GPU so you have the advantage of the SAM (smart access memory) option, and since you are saying it has to be RGB and white, sapphire pure line up might be what you are looking for with great price to performance ratio ;) Good luck with your future builds!

@@itsjuliamorales Yup, that's what I mean but you didn't tell me the CL; clock latency. In your mother board bios, you will have the option for an XMP profile or for EXPO. That will make your RAM go even faster, so it's a free speed-up thing. Be sure to check it out and turn it on :)

Congrats on your first build, I love building more than gaming on them actually so I have way more computers than I can actually use. You obviously went to micro center, lol. Personally I’d have gone with at least a semi modular PSU. Love the boyfriend nervously bouncing his foot while you were installing the stuff on the motherboard. On a side note, you really need to do something about that audio, it’s horrible. Otherwise great video though. Also in my 3 decades of building computers the one thing you never, ever do is put the side panel on before booting and installing windows. 9 times out of ten it won’t boot for whatever reason or you will find you forgot to do something and end up opening it back up. 😂 Superstitious I know, but that’s how it seems to work.
@itsjuliamorales3 ай бұрын
Thanks! And yes, I did learn that the hard way and took the side panels off to fix a few things, like the placement of the RAM and one of the cable positionings for the RGB on the fan. Now i know for next time haha. I have a feeling I'll be the same way with building. I just love building things!
